Key leadership transitions that shaped education oversight across the mission system.
When Mr. Roujee Morris became a mission leader in the school system, the civil war disrupted systems and operations, and he carried multiple responsibilities during a difficult season.
After Mr. Morris left mission leadership, the Elders established a seven-man council headed by Daniel Paygar, and Elder Garmondeh Karnga was appointed as Education Director.
When Mr. Reuben Tedoe Faimahn took over as Director of Missions, he recommended Evangelist Constant C. Pee to serve as Education Director.
When Elder Garmondeh Karnga became Director of Missions, he continued coordinating Education and at Sinjay Conference recommended Ben Karnga to serve as Education Director.
When Madam Mary Karnga Dahn took over as Director of Missions, she recommended Mr. G. Alphonso Menyon to serve as Education Director.
Presiding Elder & Founder
In the formative years of Star International School System, Rev. Dr. Abba G. Karnga provided oversight and spiritual direction across the mission pillars, including Church, Education, Agriculture, and Medical. His foundational leadership helped shape the mission's structure and vision, creating the groundwork for the Education Department that serves today.
As mission schools grew and enrollment expanded, this early governance model later evolved into a dedicated Education Department to strengthen academic supervision, teacher support, and long-term institutional planning.
